Lines and Wrinkle

Wrinkles are creases, folds, or ridges in the skin. They normally appear as people get older, but they can also develop after spending a long time in the water. The first wrinkles to appear on a person’s face tend to occur as a result of facial expressions.

About our Lines and Wrinkles treatments

We offer various treatments for the reduction and prevention of lines and wrinkles.

Wrinkles are creases, folds, or ridges in the skin. They normally appear as people get older, but they can also develop after spending a long time in the water. The first wrinkles to appear on a person’s face tend to occur as a result of facial expressions.

Sun damage, smoking, dehydration, some medications, and environmental and genetic factors affect when and where people will develop wrinkles. Most wrinkles tend to appear in the parts of the body which receive the most sun exposure, especially the face and neck, the back of the hands, and the arms.

Frequently asked questions

HOW CAN RADIO FREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING HELP WITH LINES AND WRINKLES?

Radio frequency (RF) skin tightening is a nonsurgical and noninvasive skin tightening and anti-aging treatment.

During RF treatment, current flows from the electrodes of an RF device into your skin, heating the tissues beneath to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

RF skin tightening is considered to be very safe; the only common side effect is mild to moderate pain during treatment.

RF skin tightening requires no downtime or post-treatment skin care.

This treatment can be a stand alone, part of a course or as part of our Red Carpet Facial.

HOW DOES DERMAPEN MICRONEEDLING HELP WITH LINES AND WRINKLES?

This “controlled injury” process opens up your skin with tiny tears. Then, healing promotes collagen production, which helps fill in and smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. This is the only treatment which can target fine lines and wrinkles close to the eyes.

Microneedling works best as part of a course of treatments however some difference can be seen after the first treatment.

HOW DOES HIFU FACELIFT HELP WITH LINES AND WRINKLES?

HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy to target the layers of skin just below the surface. The ultrasound energy causes the tissue to heat up rapidly. Once the cells in the targeted area reach a certain temperature, they experience cellular damage. While this may seem counterintuitive, the damage actually stimulates the cells to produce more collagen — a protein that provides structure to the skin. The increase in collagen results in tighter, firmer skin Trusted Source with fewer wrinkles. Since the high-frequency ultrasound beams are focused on a specific tissue site below the skin’s surface, there’s no damage to the upper layers of the skin and adjacent issue.

HIFU is a one off treatment and continues working for up to a year.

HOW DOES LED LIGHT THERAPY HELP WITH LINES AND WRINKLES?

LED light therapy is a painless, relaxing, non-invasive skin-care treatment that has multiple benefits, particularly stimulating collagen and treating mild to moderate acne.

LED treatments work by using an array of bright light-emitting diodes (originally developed by NASA!) that send low-level light energy into the deeper layers of the skin.

This treatment can be a stand alone or as part of another treatment.
